Customer service is our culture, not a department.
We understand that as a multi-unit customer, the challenge of a national remodel or retrofit rollout can seem overwhelming, but QSI is prepared to tackle even your largest project. We use pre-qualified crews to complete all National Projects. Crews are responsible for traveling from store to store and completing projects in a timely, cost effective and professional manner. Our national projects/rollouts team can perform services such as fixture upgrades, Wi-Fi installs, convenience outlets, and preventive maintenance (PM).
Unlike most of our competitors, QSI does not require a contract. We value your opinion and we want you to be satisfied with our service. If you are not completely happy with our work, we do not want to force you to use our services. Additionally, we go to great lengths, negotiating with subcontractors, to ensure that you receive the highest-quality services and products for the best possible price.
Still, with any successful venture, there are numerous aspects to consider and questions that must be answered. QSI understands, and that is why we have compiled a summary of the most important factors to consider and questions to ask yourself to ensure that you can efficiently accomplish your goals.
ITEMS TO CONSIDER
SCOPE OF WORK
What are you trying to accomplish and will it involve remodeling a certain area of the store or a minor retrofit in another? Also important is establishing what trade(s) are going to be involved in completing the project. This will be essential in creating and understanding your budget as well as the rest of the factors involved.
BUDGET
- How much will it cost to implement the changes?
- Is there going to be training needed or a pilot store completed?
- What are the costs of materials, shipping and warehousing as well as the vendor’s install cost and – if required – additional personnel cost?
DEADLINE
- What is the timeframe in which the project needs to be completed?
QUALIFYING VENDORS
- Is a national or regional vendor going to be utilized throughout the project?
- Has the customer worked with any of the vendors being considered, and if not, will those vendors provide a list of references?
ISSUING A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
- A Request for Proposal (RFP) must be developed and issued. This process needs to stay specific to the project.
PARTNERING WITH A QUALIFIED VENDOR
- Review all submitted RFPs and award/partner with a qualified vendor.
NOTIFYING THE STORES
- Notify all stores included in the project. The stores will be most affected by the project so they should always be considered throughout the process.
