12.27.10 QSI announces national trade show attendance.
Quality Solutions, Inc. will be attending one National conference in January (NRF), and exhibiting at two National conferences in the spring (SPECS and PRSM). If you plan on attending, please stop by our booth and see us. As another year of success comes to an end for 2010, we look forward to networking with our existing clients who have made this past year a success.
1.9.11 NRF
Expectations are high for the upcoming 100th annual NRF Convention & EXPO (January 9th – 12th), produced by The National Retail Federation, Washington D.C. The conference will be held at the Jacob K. Javits Center, in New York City. Approximately 18,500 domestic and international attendees, comprised of retail executives, vendors and consultants are expected to attend the conference to take advantage of a strong educational agenda, as well as to visit 600 vendors on the show’s EXPO floor. Most of the retailers attending the show will share common concerns. Among the expected hot topics at this year’s event: mobile retailing, social networking, sustainability and how to gain the insight needed to survive in today’s uncertain economic environment.
3.13.11 SPECS
At the 47th Annual Store Planning, Equipment, Construction and Facilities Services Seminar National conference (March 13th – March 16th) held at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas, QSI will demonstrate how its National project and construction team can work for you – saving your company time and money in 2011. Our National rollout teams perform multiple scopes including, but not limited to: fixture up-grades, Wi-Fi installs, ADA improvements, painting, electrical, energy management systems (EMS), HVAC repairs/replacements, flooring replacements and larger scopes duplicated across a district, region or chain wide. Our construction team handles all projects outside the scope of general maintenance. We specialize in occupied space tenant improvements, build-outs and rollouts. 8.12.09 Flooring material. What is the most cost effective in these cost conscious times and why?
Polished concrete is without a doubt the most cost effective floor to maintain. There are several finishes that fall under the category of “polished concrete.” Whether it is stained and polished or a diamond grind finish these types of floors are becoming more popular by the day. The popularity of this application is growing for the simple fact that it costs thousands of dollars less in maintenance annually. These types of floors eliminate the need for yearly strip, waxing and scrubbing services. Retailers are also leaning toward this choice for the significant sustainability provided. This flooring is a leap into the GREEN movement. All that is required to clean the floor is a dust mop, an auto scrubber and cleaning solution. There are a variety of GREEN neutral cleaners on the market today for use with auto scrubbers. Although the initial install cost is typically higher, the savings realized in maintenance and repairs over the life of the floor is substantial. Read more
